My favorite characters are Lincoln, Olivia, Astrid, Elena, Elijah, Caroline, Alaric, Andrea, Dale, Darryl, and Rick and I will STAN THE HELL OUT OF THESE CHARACTERS!!! Especially if they're female and subjected to the hate brought about by typical misogynist fandom.

Otherwise I'm pretty chill and far too concerned with my OTPs to bother getting into it with anyone.

I love how he’s focused on her and not anyone else. Any other character would try to make her decisions for her or deal on her behalf, but Elijah only ever wants to deal with Elena herself.

The awkward moment when the 3 seconds of Elijah in the promo was better than the entire episode. MY BABY IS BACK! And he’s in Elena’s house. At night. And she’s not unconscious anymore. And the Savatores were away. She and Jeremy were alone. No one else. And Elijah’s here now. Talking to Elena. Who’s to say it wasn’t Elijah that found her? Who’s to say he doesn’t HEAL HER with HIS BLOOD? And as always, he’s letting her call the shots. He’s letting Elena make the decision to trust him. Because he doesn’t know how she feels towards him. After what he did to her, Elijah gives her the choice to put her trust back in him because he feels he may not deserve it. My OTP! They still respect each other. THEY STILL CARE!!!
